A warm welcome to Fair Field Junior School. Our school was built in 1958 and more recently converted to an Academy in 2015. Our vision: 

Equipping our children with the skills to succeed in an ever changing world.

We have strong links with our feeder school, St John's Nursery and Infant School, where I am also the Executive Headteacher.  We also welcome children from other schools.  Our children go on to a variety of secondary schools. 

Our Headteacher is Mrs Leggett . She has spread her passion for inclusion and learning through real life experiences throughout the school.  We have been focusing on creative learning, leadership opportunities for children at all levels and a dynamic and progressive curriculum.  

Our team at Fair Field Junior School are ambitious for every child: the teachers and all our support staff.  This was recognised during the Pandemic when the school was awarded the National Teaching Award for Lockdown Hero for Learning and Community Support, as part of our Trust.

We are part of the Poppy Academy Trust which is a collaboration of local schools working together.  We are looking forward to our local growth over the next few years.
