This term, the Year 6's are investigating the impact of environmental changes. We have had the opportunity to study different examples of weathering and erosion and reflect on the impact that they have on the environment. Practical experiments enabled us to gain a greater understanding of physical, biological and chemical weathering and what it looks like. We have debated the impact that people have on their environment and the responsibility that we have to care for it.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on lesson as they always do. The quality of both questioning and reasoning reflected their deep understanding of weathering.
