In English, Year 6 have started the new book 'Wonder' By R. J. Palacio. It follows the life of August, a boy with Treacher Collins Syndrome and his journey into school after being home-schooled. We started by researching Treacher Collins Syndrome and thinking about August's character by using evidence from the text to support us. We are really enjoying the book so far and cannot wait to read more!
