seasonal vegetable tarts

Year 3 have been learning about seasonal food in their Design and Technology lessons . They explored different seasonal vegetables, tasted them, and then designed and made their own vegetable tarts.
The children practiced using knives safely, chopping vegetables, and preparing tart bases. They also focused on keeping their workspaces clean and hygienic throughout the process.
It was a fun and educational way for students to develop practical skills while learning about healthy eating and sustainability.
