Geography Fieldwork

Teal and Mint Class embarked on an exciting geography field trip with an important mission—investigating the amount of plastic waste on our streets and in the park. Equipped with gloves and bin bags, the children worked hard to collect and properly dispose of the plastic they found, gaining first-hand insight into the impact of litter on our environment.

Back at school, the students reflected on their findings and took action. They wrote thoughtful letters to Oliver Dowden, expressing their concerns about plastic pollution in our oceans and offering ideas on how Hertsmere can contribute to reducing waste.
