We were very excited to welcome David, Evie's grandad, to speak with us about what it was like to be an evacuee during World War II.  The children very much enjoyed listening to David's experiences and found that it brought the past to life.  They particularly loved hearing about the games he and his friends played searching for the biggest bomb cases after air raids!
